I’m Roey Tang, the founder of Bonheur Calli Studio, a calligrapher and engraver dedicated to creating sophisticated letters and impressive gifts in Hong Kong.
After spending 8 years as a psychiatric nurse, I embarked on a journey to discover my true purpose of life. In 2023, I made the life-changing decision to leave my full-time job and travel to Tokyo, Japan for advanced study and obtained JMCA (Japan Modern Calligraphy Association) junior scritier qualification. Now, I’m back in Hong Kong, ready to bring my passion for calligraphy to life.

What is happiness?
Excessive focus on the past leads to depression, excessive worry about the future leads to anxiety, to live in the present is to invite true happiness.
It requires you to focus, to learn, to practice, and calligraphy as a meditative art form helps to focus on oneself and reach to the inner peace.
